Combatting Flu/Cold Season

Below are tips from my YL Upline, Jennifer Southern

TIP- at first sign of illness, begin to treat immediately.  Even if in the middle of the night. The longer you wait to react, the illness has more time to take hold, and it will take you longer to treat and eradicate.

TIP- Avoid sugar when combating an illness. Sugar paralyzes your immune system.

TIP-Keep V-6, A quality Olive Oil or Coconut Oil on hand, just in case an oil is used topically and feels 'hot'.  Apply one of these oils to the location, and it will cool it down. V-6 is my personal favorite.

In our family, at first sign of cold or flu, I put a couple of drops of Oregano and Cypress in a veggie cap. I take it every 30 minutes for about 4 hours. After that, I am generally well. I usually will take a cap every couple of hours for good measure.

RC on the chest helps open up the chest.

For digestive issues, I put Di-Gize or peppermint right on my tummy, or a drop on my tongue. Sometimes, all I need is once, sometimes several applications, depending on what I am dealing with.

TIP- If using on small children, the bottoms of their feet is the best place for oil application.

My Natural 'Medicine" Chest Contents ( and what I use them for)

Oregano - Anti- viral - anti-fungal - anti-infectious

Cypress -immune stimulant

Lemon -immune stimulant

Thieves (oil, spray, cleaner) - anti viral- anti- bacterial- anti-infections

Peppermint - muscle pains - headaches - respiratory - digestive issues

Geranium - hemostat (stops bleeding)

Purification - purifies and disinfects the air

DiGize - indegestion - bloating - heart burn
