Young Living Business Builders Conference Call with Debra Raybern 2/20/14

Following up with a new YL Member:

Follow up when they get their new starter kit (in person or on a call- talk them through it)
Open box - Ninixa red, stress away, business cards to put samplers to share with others
Distributor resource guide - familiarize yourself with page, help them fill it out
They can keep it in the box or store it so they can pull it out for accessibility
Welcome to Young living - have them read it, they will get some useful info from it...walk them through it and read it (Trifold - essential oils at a glance - laminate it and use it as a guide to giving a class- cotton ball to pass around or ask what kind of ailment and demonstrate use) 
You don't have to know everything

Open each of the oils - example: purification (bug bites, bad odor) go through each at a glance
PARAMOUNT -resource Essential Oils Desk Reference - guide to all YL oils
Using oils: Remember that what works for you may not work well for another. Look up other oil choices

Tips on how to share or what to say when holding a basic meeting:
Intro about you- share
A little bit about the company - go to the website and read the info "20 yr old company" 
Pick out some highlights, and seed to seal
*Another meeting "training meetings" like healing oils of the bible - beyond the basics 
Home meetings: keep it simple
Keep snacks to a minimum because it's a distraction

One on one, Skype, 3 way call
Have a website of your own aside from YL "replicating website" 
Youngliving world, 
Send articles via email - make sure they know how to sign up - don't make them an orphan, give them your member #

Get a few business cards through vistaprint

How do you get new people? 
You probably know more people than you know even if you just moved.
Get involved wherever you are, join groups to make relationships with people. Include YL as your introduction of who you are. 
Just share one to one. Be ready for opportunities to help others. Pay attention to people's problems and be ready to share how YL oils may help
Biggest thing to get over: when people say no. It doesn't matter. Be open to possibility
Get stickers and leave it wherever you are - example: on a newspaper
Jog your memory and write down some names - the mailman, the ups guy - offer a bottle of water, give a sample to someone.  
DVDs, brochures - do what works for you.

What do you do if you live in an area where it is heavy in competition? 
Have weekly meetings - nothing fancy has to be ready. Just do it. Nobody show up? Get in your Jammie's.
